Case Study:
Corporate Citizenship
-
Client:
Leading Internet Company (revenues
above $1 billion)
- Challenge:
Our Client is a top 20 global Internet company with an
entrepreneurial spirit. The company was seeking a more advanced corporate citizenship and philanthropy
strategy/program that could make a meaningful difference in
communities and become a sustainable part of the company.
- Solution:
Invision designed and implemented a plan to identify advanced
corporate citizenship and philanthropy programs that were aligned
with the company’s values, mission and direction. We
successfully conducted both an internal analysis that engaged
Executive team members, and an external analysis, including
benchmarking and best practice. Our strategy and planning
phases were led in a way that exceeded desired goals.
- Impact:
We successfully designed the corporate citizenship program,
including an integrated strategy and a holistic approach to
achieving the social mission. The Executive Team
provided feedback that the programs we created fit
the company well and exceeded corporate goals. The program
offers opportunities to achieve great social and business
benefit.
Case
Study: Corporate Diversity
-
Client: Leading Telecommunications Company (Fortune
50) (revenues above
$120 billion)
-
Challenge: The leadership team was seeking to
strengthen associates’ commitment to diversity. Associates were
aware of the issues surrounding diversity, there was a corporate
mandate to “show a video,” but the leadership team felt that
there had to be a better way to deepen the team’s commitment and
to illustrate how diversity practices reverberate throughout the
company.
-
Solution: We engaged an Executive core team and
designed a model that offers a positive experience for
associates and engages them in diversity issues. The program was
structured to elicit traditional emotions related to diversity, without using the
more sensitive topics involved. It was an inclusive and
uniquely integrated program for both local and national associates.
-
Impact: Associates took away some very valuable
experiences, and provided highly positive feedback about the enjoyable
and creative nature of the program. Associates indicated that
they will incorporate a greater sense of diversity within their
roles at the organization & in daily life. Our program not only achieved our corporate diversity objectives, but far exceeded our goals. We believe these programs have the clear
opportunity to heighten employee morale, achieve product
innovation, and deliver on top-line corporate and “people”
goals - and feedback indicates that we delivered on this promise in a uniquely exceptional way.
Case Study:
Strategic Planning, Operational Models, Societal Change
(This case study / client initiative covers both ‘business success’
and ‘societal advancement’ imperatives. Each of these independent
focus areas are included within the ‘business success’ and ‘corporate
citizenship’ case study sections.)
- Client:
Leading Healthcare Company (revenues above $10 billion)
- Challenge:
Our client is a global healthcare company, with approximately
1,800+ outpatient clinic locations and a related product & service
offering. The leadership team was seeking to find new ways,
through the use of technology, to achieve societal and corporate
objectives. Goals included enhancing patient health, engaging
patients in a more interactive way with their treatments,
providing an enjoyable high-tech experience that integrates
entertainment with treatment, industry innovation leadership and
visionary strategy. A signature initiative had been identified, with a $180M+ investment
forecast. The company has not traditionally launched initiatives
of this nature and scale, and the leadership team wanted to deliver the program successfully.
- Solution:
Invision led a comprehensive review of the strategic plan,
operational models, and implementation plan. Top challenge
areas and top opportunity areas were identified, with a focus on
achieving our core goals above mentioned. New models, enhanced
strategy, business planning, and a comprehensive roadmap was
developed. Invision identified new ways to engage patients, a
model to heighten enhancement of patient health (and a tracking
methodology to determine awareness and outcomes), and developed
a number of operational models to foster success of the
initiative at-large. Within the strategic review, Invision
developed the multi-year strategic plan to deliver on the core
goals of the company/program, holistically incorporating the
cross-functional elements needed to foster success.
- Impact:
Implementation for 100% of our 200 national pilot site locations completed successfully, as we head toward transformational patient health results. The models created can now carry the company through full-scale national implementation for all 1,800+ clinics. Executive feedback that the multi-dimensional strategy fits the
company’s needs, and incorporates the right key element for
delivering on our goals (enhancing patient health, engaging
patients in a more interactive way with their treatments,
providing an enjoyable experience that integrates entertainment
with treatment, innovation leadership, and visionary strategy).
Team feedback that the new models are a great asset to the
company; E.g., several models far exceeded
expectations and are a valuable tool to be leveraged for new initiatives. Implementation remains on track.
